Lake Tomahawk

Lake Tomahawk is a quiet community located in the middle of the beautiful Northern Highland–American Legion State Forest. Area lakes and flowages provide endless opportunities for wilderness paddling. The area’s white-tailed deer, ruffed grouse and turkey offer excellent hunting. Local snowmobile trails are kept in tip-top shape by dedicated volunteers. Lake Tomahawk is known as the “World Capital of Snowshoe Baseball.” The unique sport has helped put Lake Tomahawk on the map, generating national media attention.
